Description
A simple solution for securing coping stones to the wall. Coping stones are traditionally installed via a mortar bed similar to block and brick work. However the mortar bed can be susceptible over time to cracking and threeze faw action, eventually causing the coping stone to become loose
When fixing coping stones at height, or above walkways it is advised to mechanically fix the coping stone to the wall to guard against coping stones becoming loose and falling or slipping from the roof.
Mechanically fixing the coping stone is also advantageous for garden walls where people may lean on, or sit on the coping stones which can cause them to come loose from a traditional mortar bed.
