Dektite’s red silicone can withstand constant temperatures of -50°C – 200°C and up to 250°C intermittently. Whilst the grey and black EPDM can withstand constant temperatures of -50°C – 115°C, and up to 150°C intermittently. Is this suitable to be fixed to wood and have a wood burner flu through it? Also will I need one both sides of wall?
This would be suitable, you need to use some self tapping fixings and sealant to seal it, you only need to use it on the side exposed to the outside elements.
