The Protect VP300 is a mid-weight breathable roofing membrane with vapour resistance that exceeds the standard. The water and airtight underlay is suitable for use in all cold and warm pitched roof installations, including fully supported applications. VP300’s triple ply composition is strong and durable. Offering impressive wind uplift resistance, it meets requirements for zones 1-3 at 345mm batten gauge and can be used as a temporary roof covering*. At 130 grams per metre squared, the UKCA and CE marked Protect VP300 is still lightweight enough to be easy to handle and install. Please note: *Air and vapour permeable underlays are not a total waterproof barrier and if used as a temporary waterproof covering, some rain penetration may occur. In certain conditions, particularly if there is persistent heavy rainfall combined with subsequent freeze/thaw conditions, an underlay should not be exposed for more than a few days. In the event of severe weather conditions, the product should be covered with tarpaulin (referenced in BBA Bulletin No 2. “Guide to Good Site Practice”)
